Where to Watch the Rays in the World Series in Tampa Bay (2026)
· 4 min read · Road Dog Social Club
The Rays are in the World Series for the first time since 2020, and the third time ever. After leading the American League with 98 wins, they swept the Yankees and beat the Guardians in six to win the pennant. Now they face the Milwaukee Brewers, who won 103 games this year.
Neither team has ever won a World Series. One of them will by Halloween.
This is the kind of week you don't want to spend on the couch alone. Here's the schedule, and where to catch it with a crowd.
The schedule
Every game starts at 8 p.m. Eastern on FOX (and FOX Deportes, streaming on FOX One). The Brewers have home-field advantage.
- Game 1: Friday, Oct. 23, in Milwaukee
- Game 2: Saturday, Oct. 24, in Milwaukee
- Game 3: Monday, Oct. 26, at Tropicana Field
- Game 4: Tuesday, Oct. 27, at Tropicana Field
- Game 5 (if necessary): Wednesday, Oct. 28, at Tropicana Field
- Game 6 (if necessary): Friday, Oct. 30, in Milwaukee
- Game 7 (if necessary): Saturday, Oct. 31, in Milwaukee
The home games are back at a rebuilt Trop. After Hurricane Milton tore up the roof in 2024, the Rays spent 2025 at Steinbrenner Field in Tampa and returned to St. Pete this season with a new roof, new turf, and a bigger videoboard.
St. Pete: right next to the Trop
Ferg's Sports Bar & Grill. If you can't get into the ballpark, this is the next best thing. Ferg's sits right across from Tropicana Field, has been St. Pete's game-day spot since 1992, and covers nearly two city blocks. On a World Series night, expect it to be packed before first pitch. Get there early, or make it the place you meet before you head across the street.
Tampa: downtown and SoHo
Hattricks Tavern. Open on Franklin Street since 1997, a few months after the arena opened down the street. It's a true sports bar, with screens visible from everywhere and wings and Cubans on the menu. There's a second Hattricks on Henderson Boulevard in South Tampa if downtown is too crowded.
MacDinton's Irish Pub. A SoHo staple with a big game-day crowd and food served until midnight. It's an easy place to start the night and stay put, or to walk on to the rest of Howard Avenue after the final out.
Waterfront watch parties. Sparkman Wharf and Armature Works have hosted big outdoor watch parties for Tampa Bay's teams before. Check their event calendars this week before you go.
Clearwater
Varsity Club All American Sports Cafe. On U.S. 19 in Clearwater (with a second location in East Lake, Palm Harbor), with plenty of TVs and room for a group. It covers every Tampa Bay team, so it's a good call when the bars on the beach are full.
How to make it a night, not just a game
- Pick the spot before the day. Decide where you're watching by lunchtime. On a World Series night, "let's figure it out at 7:30" means standing in the back.
- Show up early. Doors-to-first-pitch is your pregame. Food, a round, and good seats.
- Get a group of three or four. Big enough to hold a table, small enough to actually talk between innings.
- Don't drive after. Rideshare to and from, especially from the Trop on Games 3 and 4.
- Keep it going. If the Rays win, nobody goes home right away. If they lose, there's another game tomorrow.
Where Road Dog fits
Road Dog was made for weeks like this. It's a social club app for guys 21 and older in Tampa, St. Pete and Clearwater: members host or join plans at sports bars, restaurants and venues around the bay, always in public places. A plan has a time, a place and a crew, so "who's watching Game 3?" turns into an actual table at Ferg's.
Road Dog is launching soon on iPhone and Android. Get early access and we'll tell you the day it's ready.
Go Rays.
Schedule from MLB as of October 22, 2026. Check each venue's hours and events before you go.
